''Soundmix, a music project working with unaccompanied children in Lambeth, needs a volunteer to work alongside 2 experienced percussion tutors on Tuesday 5-7pm, beginning April 2010. We work in a community social evening setting with many young people from Afghanistan and around the world, supported by Smile and the Refugee Council. Ideally the volunteer would speak Farsi, Pashto or Dari, and English. A background in music and percussion/drumming would be an advantage, but you don't need to be an expert! We can support a small expenses allowance for this role.
