Job Description:

Afghan Association Paiwand is looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Youth Worker to establish a community Radio, organize drama and music activities and trips for children and young people.

· Assess children and identify their needs and refer to appropriate activities · Review Paiwand’s arts and drama activities in light of these needs · Provide mentoring and one-to-one support for 40 young people each year · Establish and manage a recording studio · Organise a young Afghans orchestra. · Organise structured activities and day trips for young people · Recruit, train and support volunteers · Organise and participate in events such as music competitions and performances, an art and painting competition and dance performances. · Identify and refer children needing special care or support · Administer arts and drama activities of the Afghan Association Paiwand · Compile and advocate the emerging needs of the projects’ beneficiaries’ (children and youth); · Regular monitoring and review of classes as well as support project evaluation; · Provide yearly reports a
